I am an author/illustrator from Dallas, TX (yeehaw!) who writes and illustrates stories enjoyed by all ages. I love using bright pops of color, layers and layers of paint, and scribbly brushstrokes to create a vintage-feeling illustration style with a modern touch. 

I am a sucker for folktales, especially ones that feature seemingly ordinary characters in not-so-ordinary environments. Whether it's a tiny cub longing to live in a sky full of birds or a big bear refusing to step outside his perfect home on his (very) tall hill, I adore characters who are quirky, expressive, and wholly relatable. 

My debut picture book, Ping-Pong Shabbat, has received a Silver Eureka Award, and my illustrations have been recognized by the New York Society of Illustrators and the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. If I Lived in the Sky, my author/illustrator debut, will release with Levine Querido in June 2026.
